Mechanism of Action

• Amoxicillin kills bacteria by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death.

• Clavulanic Acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes produced by resistant bacteria, thereby protecting Amoxicillin from being inactivated.
  Together, they are effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including beta-lactamase–producing strains.

Uses / Indications

• Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Bone and joint infections

• Ear, nose, and throat infections

• Intra-abdominal or post-surgical infections

Dosage and Administration

• Route: Intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) injection.

• Typical adult dose: 1 g every 8–12 hours, depending on infection severity and medical advice.

• The powder is reconstituted with sterile water before injection.

• Must be administered by a qualified healthcare professional.
